About Us

GamerDating.com is the product of good friends, a good idea and great passion. We five friends pooled our talents and love of gaming in April of 2010 to create a place where others like us could find companionship. After many sleepless nights we are excited and proud to meet and serve our fellow gamers.

ArcadeGeek, Coding Wiz

“As a kid, my Dad was a used car salesman. He swapped a car for a whole load of classic arcade machines -- I was really young, like six or eight or something -- anyways, we had a garage with twenty beautiful classic arcade machines in it. I was hooked. Too young to be much good unfortunately, but we had Battlezone, Pleiads, Pheonix, Space Invaders...I started collecting and repairing classic arcade machines as soon as I could afford to. I love the community.”

Farske,

“At first I really thought it was all crap but then my dad got an Amiga 500 and said “There you go, play some games.” I played, but to be honest I can’t remember most of them. It wasn’t until I was about 13 that I really got into gaming. Single player games where the goal is world domination mostly. What really hooked me was when I started playing games online. It is all about knowing that someone just looked down at their keyboard with the shame of knowing I owned them.”

SirNoggin, Head Honcho. GamerDating.com dates from April 2009, when he came up with the idea after thinking about a friends predicament with women. "My friend was seeing a girl who didn't understand his passion for video games. I sat up in bed one night and that famous Eureka! moment came, I said "Hey...what if there were a place where all these people, who are so obviously passionate about video and computer games could meet!?" I got on my PC, there was nothing on the Internet of note that offered this to Gamers. So was born the idea Gamer Dating."

Stoshi, Media Guru

“I got into gaming in college. I moved into a house with a bunch of friends and we had a massive front room with every console you could imagine. That first summer I gave myself shin splints playing Dance Dance Revolution and repetitive motion injuries rocking the first Guitar Hero. Five years later I’m the first person to dig into new game story lines and cut scenes. I guess I game now for the awesome artistry of the games.”
