Hi all! Please take a moment to read this whether old or new to the site. Some seriously interesting times are happening at GamerDating.com. We have huge amounts that we're going to be reveiling to you all bit by bit and we've appreciated all your patience and good will with the service as we begin to really rack up the numbers of people enjoying GamerDating.com for our service and hopefully finding love!
There are many changes on the way including a mix up of the team (We're now 7 strong!) Which has taken a while to get straight and meant jiggling some servers around. It also meant getting off Godaddy.com for a few reasons:
Their bandwidth sucks as well as the constant inconsistancies they gave us in service.
We wanted complete control over our databases without a third party.
We completely disagreed with Godaddy's policy supporting both ill concieved policies of SOPA and ACTA in the United States of America and believe that they would impeach fundimental freedoms for our users and everyone else should they be enacted into law.
We're also mixing up and redoing the entire forum/blog stategy our end and instead introducing a singular public forum for everyone, team or users, to interact and chat with one another over their favourite subjects, be it from dating to your favourite games, or whatever you like! We're open to suggestions to see how things form over the next few months. This will be reveiled to you all in version 1.1 which is just around the corner and has come forward after our new ad partnerships (which we'll reveil to you all soon) have enabled us to grow the service to the level we always imagined it.
Even though we're hitting the 40,000 mark with users at the moment, its not enough for us. So, we'll be reveiling some seriously big partnerships in the near future to grow the service to the size you all want.
This ties in nicely with our third announcement comming soon, we've started developing GamerDating 2.0 that will be built on, Ajax to take advantage of the same technologies that make Facebook and Youtube a fantastic interactive and real time service.
So that is the news for now, stay tuned, big changes and massive partnerships are around the corner!
