Hi, my name is Jason.

Sorry about the tagline, cheesy but I think it fits the theme of the site. Also, a fitting analogy if you think of it.

Being in a relationship could very well relate to playing games together if you parse it out. If the other player makes a mistake, you forgive them and move on. You have to cooperate to meet a mutually beneficial goal (happiness, stable finances, family, etc), and if you spend time together you eventually learn each other strengths and weaknesses, you can compliment each other and become a stronger team. Did't think I could pull that off did ya?

Anyhoo on with the profile; I like to think I'm a nice, normal guy who is just looking for someone they can relate and share their life with. Simple, right?

Well simple, not easy. Oh, I've been with girls who "tolerate" my various technological interests. "Oh you do programming? What do you do all day, look at ones and zeros?" No folks, she didn't make it to date #2.

It's gotten a lot better, espeically since things like Facebook and mobile phones to make games "trendy", but it's not often you meet a girl who can share in this sacred pastime without feeling like it's "forced" or she's only doing it to try and make you happy.

Beyond that, I do have a son who lives with his mom, so you have to know/accept that I have a kid. He's fun though, after a while he becomes a "feature" instead of a "complication". Also, I love my job and I get to do things I enjoy doing all day. That makes me a happier person in general, and I simply want to enrich my home life as well and do my best to make someone happy.

So, thats all I have to say. I hope you got to know me a bit from all that, and perhaps piqued your interest. (Or at least expanded your vocabulary, I like big words, ok?)
