The Steam Sale is predicted to launch this week and if it's anything like the weather so far, it's gonna be a hot one.
A few pieces of evidence has predicted the Steam Sale will launch June 22, based on Steam already awarding Summer Sale cards (in games and sales) and if we look at the history we can see that Steam sales return every year in a relatively stable frequency. Based on data from the last few years, the upcoming sale dates are predicted. Then finally to slam a final nail in the coffin for predicting dates Paypal has announced an offer to the UK users.
The Steam Summer Sale starts on June 22 and those in the UK will get £5 off when they spend £20 using their PayPal account. This offer ends on July 4.
The Steam Summer Sale is predicted to kick off at 1pm Eastern and 6pm in the UK on June 22, and will end on July 5 at the exact same times.
Last year we saw a format change which dropped flash sales and introduced long term discounts. While this helped some people, most of the feedback was negative, even though it made Steam more money!
No news on any format changes, but let's see. What are you looking forward to?
Are you ready for a miracle?
