Paradox Development Studio, makers of the Crusader Kings and Europa Universalis series created Stellaris, a mix of grand strategy genre with space exploration at its core. With deep strategic gameplay, masses of alien races and an awesome emergent story, the interstellar exploration as you build your empire across space is brilliant.
Now after the success of the initial launch and expansion Utopia, Stellaris boasts the new AI.
Stellaris: Synthetic Dawn provides an all-new way for players to establish their empire across the stars, starting the game as a Machine Empire -- a society made up entirely of robots. The new expansion, being robot race, features event chains that will allow the machines to expand as a robotic consciousness, and create an AI-led network that grows to galactic dominance.
Stellaris: Synthentic Dawn will be releasing 21st September and is available via GoG and Steam.
Stellaris and Stellaris Utopia have been fantastically received with me with Metacritic 78 and 82 and Synthetic Dawn looks like its shaping up to be another solid Paradox Game.
